Booking Terms and Conditions Cancellations or changes to your reservation by us We would not expect to have to make any changes to a confirmed reservation, but very occasionally a problem may occur which requires us to change or cancel a reservation. If we have to change something and the change is not acceptable to you, or a reservation has to be cancelled, we will refund as soon as possible any money you have paid. Except where otherwise expressly stated in these Conditions, we shall not be liable for changes, cancellations or any other effect on your holiday that is due to any event(s) beyond our control. In appropriate cases (for example where we have to cancel your booking before your arrival) we will refund all monies paid to us for your booking. No compensation will be payable in such circumstances. Incapacity, personal injury or loss of property We shall have no liability to you for the incapacity of or personal injury to you or any member of your party unless it results from our act or omission. You must take all necessary steps to safeguard your personal property. No liability to you is accepted in respect of loss of or damage to such property except where it is caused by our negligence. If you change or cancel your reservation 1. Changes If you want us to change your reservation once we have issued your confirmation, we will do our best to accommodate your change. However, if accommodation is not available at your requested new date, your request for a change may have to be treated as a cancellation. 2. Cancellations If you have to cancel your reservation you should let us know as soon as possible and at least 28 days in advance to avoid any penalty. Cancellation must also be confirmed in writing by email or recorded delivery to our address below. We will do our best to re-let for the period you had booked. If we can re-book, we will return any monies paid, less a cancellation charge of £20. If we cannot re-book, you remain liable for the full cost of the period for which you had booked. You are strongly advised to take out holiday cancellation insurance; ferry disruption is a not uncommon cause of late cancellation. |
